And if you ask them, they’d say it’s something extra ordinary and literally an experience they want to undergo again. There is no specific criterion for applying. Anyone can apply, whether they are o levels or matric. Whichever school they are from. They only need to be in the age bracket of 14-16 and they should do well in the test. The test is going to be on 12th October 2014, and the last date of registration is 1st October. The selection is 100% on merit. Throughout the camp, there will be lectures by different profound people of Pakistan; activities that make you think out of the box, field trips and challenges you’ll find fun learning and totally awesome! This year the camp commences on 19th December, and will terminate by 31st December. All the boarding, travelling and all sorts of costs are bore by the Buraq administration. You don’t have to pay a single penny. You’ll live in tents, and its going to be grand, honestly. The selected 40, will be divided into groups of four; squads. And there will be two wings, each having 5 squads. You will have commanders who will guide you, and lead you throughout the camp, and they are the Buraqians from previous camps! Apart from being an exhilarating experience, Buraq is also a challenge. The squads will compete with each other, and on the whole the wings will also. The winning squad will get 200,000 PKR, for each member! Regarding the test, it’s all general knowledge! Um, it has four sections, essay, math/logic, science/space, and riddles. So, its not that hard, but YES, they prefer students who want to be part of the camp!
