Why Cornell?

Its got a very wide range of fields. You can study almost anything you want. From aerospace engineering (for girls too) to anthropology, archaeology, Asian studies, to biochemistry, biophysics, to classics, cognitive sciences, to demography to development sociology to feminist studies, film studies, genetics, government, immunology, neurobiology, microbiology, public affairs, plant breeding, music, romance studies, statistics,  urban studies, theatre arts – You name it! (I just mentioned a very few)
There are around 120 different ones! And you can choose whatever you wish.
If you want to go into research, it has more than 100 interdisciplinary research centers, societies, test centers, and programs where studies are lead on the whole kit and caboodle from nano-particles to labor migration in Nepal.

Its one of the top ranked universities of the world.Not included in ivy league so affordable one..
 
What International students should know:

Deadlines for submitting documents:
For early decision admission, its November 1. And for regular decision freshman applicants, its January 2. For transfer students, its October 15 or March 15 depending on the time they want to apply.

Tests:
SAT or ACT
Toefl or Ielts (for countries where Englist is not the first language)
[However, Toefl or Ielts will be waived for students have 670 or more in the critical reading of SAT, or those who have studies in US or any country where English is an official language for 4 years]  
[SAT is a must. It will not be waived even if you are an IB or A levels Student.]

How to get your I-20:
  • Get accepted by cornell
  • Show a transcript of $400
  • Submit Declaration of Finances form
Scholarships:
Cornell has no merit based scholarships. Scholarships will be given to those in need only.
